2020 - 1st Cathwel Boys Outing

Dear Orphanage Club Community,

On November 7th, we held our first Cathwel Outing of the year. We started the day by going to the National Taiwan Science Education Center. The kids had a great time riding Air Bikes and exploring the various exhibitions present. Then during the afternoon we went to Yayoi to enjoy some Japanese cuisine which all members (TAS and the kids from Cathwel orphanage) thoroughly enjoyed. Finally, we concluded the outing by going to Camp 4 Physical Center to go rock climbing. This was a great opportunity for the kids to bond with one another and encourage each other to climb the daunting rock wall. Overall, despite five Cathwel Boys not being able to attend this Cathwel Outing, we were really happy with the final result of the outing. We had a lot of new members that were able to successfully bond with their kids. We look forward to having another successful outing in January!

Special thanks to Mr. Arnold and Ms. Shiao for helping Kate and me with organizing the event! Also, special thanks to Ian Ho and Erin Huang for being last minute substitutes, we really appreciate it!
