Oxfam Speaker Event

On May 8th, Orphanage Club was lucky enough to have Ms. Mishaal Khan, a representative from Oxfam America, to talk to our members. Oxfam International aims to work to fight inequality to end poverty and injustice around the world. Ms. Khan shared with our members about Oxfam’s history, procedures, and efforts to send life saving care in crises happening in the world. Ms. Khan also detailed the humanitarian support that Oxfam is currently sending to regions such as West Africa and the Middle East. We were so grateful to have this experience and we hope that everyone learned more about what an amazing organization Oxfam is!
